I haven’t had a site up for a while. Not content to sit idly by while Web development expands on all fronts, I went ahead and signed up with linode.com.
I chose linode.com knowing that this server will likely host client Web sites in the near future. The fine level of control only available with true root access and no forced, proprietary interfaces limited me to only a few options, especially when price is thrown into the mix. Creating an account and deploying the VPS were both painless, and I have yet to experience any problems.
Non-Disclaimer: I wasn’t paid for this post, I just needed some content to create my theme around and I’ve loved linode.com so far.
